Stranded in Space

Stranded in Space is a 2+ player GMless game about being stuck on a broken space shuttle awaiting rescue with only your rival for company. Will the time alone together help you resolve your differences, and maybe even move on to a totally new relationship? As new feelings blossom, will you have the courage to Confess before it’s too late? 

In this 9 page narrative romance game, you play out an enemies to lovers style story of developing feelings for someone you thought you disliked, but now have a chance to see in a new light. Collaborate with your game partner(s) to create a shared backstory, decide on a reason why you are rivals, and then create your secret backstory information such as your character's passion and something they fear. Play through a series of randomly rolled prompts and narrate how you respond while you await a rescue you aren't sure will ever come. After each scene, use your attraction track to mark off your character's newly developing feelings based on the actions of their fellow character(s). You can confess your feelings at any point, but you risk some awkward game play if the other person isn't ready to reciprocate. Will your relationship soar through the stars? Or will your love get stalled in orbit? It's up to you and your fellow player(s) to decide!

The game is fully playable as a 2 player game, but can also tell stories of poly relationships with 3+ players.

Note: The romance in this romance game is fully optional. You can also choose to tell the story of a romance-free queerplatonic relationship, or a sexual relationship between aromantic characters. The spirit of this game is collaboration and creativity, so work together to tell the story that you and your game partner(s) want to tell!
